Competition Rules

• Each round is one Ao5 (five solves in one session)

• After each round, if your average is at or below that round's cutoff, you may start the next round during the competition window

• A DNF average does not advance; the last round has no cutoff (finish to complete the event)

• Use the website timer, or manually enter a time from an outside timer

• Review and edit accidental manual-entry mistakes before finalizing your round

• Average of 5 format (best and worst times dropped)

• Progression is per user (you do not need to wait for other competitors between rounds)

Ao5 (average of five) caps to start the next round.

Round 1: your Ao5 for this round must be at or below 00:40.00 to start the next round.
Round 2: your Ao5 for this round must be at or below 00:15.00 to start the next round.
Final: complete your Ao5 to finish the event (there is no next round).

Video Recording Guidelines

How to Record Your Solves:

Set up your camera/phone to capture both the cube and timer screen
Start recording before you begin each solve
Record each of your 5 solves as separate videos
Keep videos under 10MB each (typically 1-2 minutes)
Stop recording after each solve

Video Requirements:

Clear view of the cube throughout the solve
Timer must be visible (website timer or outside timer on screen)
Hands must be visible during inspection
No cuts or edits in the video
Accepted formats: MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WebM

Tips for Good Videos:

Use good lighting - avoid shadows on the cube
Keep camera stable (use a tripod or phone stand)
Position camera at an angle to see all cube faces
Test your setup with a practice solve first
Compress videos if needed to stay under 10MB

Note: Video verification is optional but recommended. Videos help build trust in the community and allow you to appear on the video-verified leaderboard. You can add videos after completing your solves.
